Indian Head Camp Values Indian Head Campers

Indian Head Campers learn new skills and develop those already acquired in athletics, the arts, aquatics and outdoor adventure programs. Positive values are continually reinforced through the diverse Indian Head program offerings and at our weekly, community campfire.

In a beautiful, natural setting filled with the sounds of nature and the sounds of a warm, crackling fire, our campers learn how personal traits like “Integrity,” “Honesty,” and “Compassion” contribute to the creation of a safe, happy and productive community.

Learning the importance of “giving something back” to our society is discussed, reinforced and then practiced. Each summer, Indian Head Campers, with the support of their families, raise money to help support Project Morry, a year-round program for economically disadvantaged youth, www.projectmorry.org.

Consistent with our commitment of ‘giving back’ we are the home of an amazing 1 week camp experience for children, ages seven to fifteen from south Florida, called Camp BreakAway. This experience is sponsored, fully, by the Compassionate Care Foundation which was created and is funded by Cliff & Jill Viner.

The Indian Head Staff, along with the Viners create a truly amazing opportunity for the BreakAway camper who would otherwise not be able to experience the magic of a resident camp program. Although the campers only spend one week with us they leave with memories that last a lifetime!
