Lake Camp
Indian Head Campers are busy morning ‘til night, 7 days a week. It’s no accident that they travel from one place to the next with huge smiles on their faces.
During the day, our program department keeps our campers moving from the fields, to the playhouse, to the waterfront. And the fun doesn’t stop there - it continues long into the night during evening activities.
Below you will find a sample schedule of a typical day for a Lake Camper at Indian Head Camp.

| 7:50 a.m. | Boys’ and Girls’ Line-ups with morning announcements |

| 8:35 a.m. | Gather at the flagpole for camp traditions such as the ‘birthday song,’ the ‘lost-tooth song,’ and the raising of the flag |
| 9:00 a.m. | Return to cabins for clean-up and inspection |
| 9:40 a.m. | First Activity Period |
| 10:40 a.m. | Second Activity Period |
| 11:40 a.m. | Third Activity Period |
| 12:40 p.m. | Buffet Lunch at the the Lodge |
| 1:10 p.m. | Return to cabins for mail call and rest-hour |
| 2:00 p.m. | Fourth Activity Period |
| 3:00 p.m. | Fifth Activity Period |
| 3:50 p.m. | Milk and Cookies for everyone! |
| 4:10 p.m. | Club and Clinic – choose your own activity for the week! |
| 5:00 p.m. | Return to cabins for shower hour and clean-up |

| 6:45 p.m. | Gather at the flagpole as a community to lower the flag |
| 7:00 p.m. | Freeplay – Campers get to choose how they want to spend this time; maybe boating, or possibly arts & crafts? Counselors are assigned to open activity areas to provide supervision |
| 7:45 p.m. | Evening Activity – What will it be tonight? Maybe a scavenger hunt, or possibly a campfire? |
| 9:00 p.m. | Campers and counselors return to cabins for a snack, a bedtime story and lights out |
Hill Camp
Similar to our younger campers, Hill Campers follow a schedule that keeps them busy all day long.
Hill Campers get to individualize their program by choosing 5 activity periods during the day to specialize in areas that interest them. They will follow this schedule three days a week.
Group schedules are provided two days a week in order to maintain a strong feeling of friendship and camaraderie. The Hill Camp schedule also allows teenagers time to relax and unwind at night, after evening activity, in a supervised setting before returning to their cabins.

| 9:00 p.m. | Hill campers have time to relax and unwind at the Hill House, the Hill Camp canteen |
