Future Families
Future Families Indian Head Campers

When you visit Indian Head this coming summer, we encourage you to ask our campers to tell you about their Indian Head camp experience.

You will hear things like, “Indian Head is a family;”“This camp is my summer home;” “Shelley, David and Joel are always there for us;”“So many of our counselors come back year after year. Many of them went to Indian Head when they were our age;” “The activities at Indian Head are amazing!”

Why choose Indian Head Camp for your child?

We are committed to providing our campers with a well-rounded experience in a traditional camp setting. Campers are provided with “top notch” instructional and recreational experiences so that when they leave camp they feel really good about themselves and the time they spent at Indian Head.

In addition to teaching our campers a wide array of activity-based skills, we never forget the importance of consciously reinforcing positive values.

Indian Head CampersCampers learn the importance and value of good sportsmanship, respect for others, respect for themselves and respect for the environment.

The end result is the creation of a special world, which enriches the lives of young people and helps them develop skills and sensitivities, which will help them meet many of life’s challenges.

Finally, we are committed to establishing a strong partnership and relationship with our camp parents.

Through many years of experience we have learned that we are most successful when we work in concert with the parents of our campers.

The camp experience has the most impact when there is a close partnership between camp and home. Together, we can give your children a “leg up” in life.

SO, if you want…

…a high energy, spirited camp where the individual is the priority, and

…you want a place where you can get “unplugged” from electronic noises for a while so you can have fun in a natural setting where people and nature reign supreme, and

…you want to be in an accepting environment where you can comfortably learn new skills and acquire life-long memories, and

… you want to be part of an extended family where campers and counselors value their relationships with each other, then…

…Indian Head Camp is the camp for you!
