Megan grew up in Marlboro NJ and is the older and as she says, “wiser” sister to Matty. Like Matty, Megan’s journey with Camp IHC started back in 1991 at the age of 8. She, too, grew up at camp and held several job titles such as Cabin Specialist, Group Leader and CIT Director. She to this day talks about her camping experience and memories with friends and family.  Megan may have left camp for several years to further her education and start a family but she is a true camp person at heart, and returned in 2023 as the HAWC Director.

Megan graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelors in Communications/Public Relations and then continued on to obtain a Masters of Social Work degree from Monmouth University. She is a Licensed Social Worker with over 18 years experience in therapeutic practice and hospital setting. Her background with mental health includes working with children and families through groups, individual and family therapy.  She has always had a passion for working with children and helping  others.

Now that she has returned to camp, she brings along her 3 children, Olivia, Daphne and Philip. She is beyond excited for her family to create many camp memories and loves watching her kids run up and down the bunkline. Her late father “Uncle Buthcee” would be proud!
